Financial system and sustainability: an inseparable duo
With ever-increasing interest from the public, investors, companies and regulators/legislators internationally, the topic of sustainability in the environmental, social and good corporate governance (ESG) fields has taken on fundamental relevance in the financial sector.
ESG transformation represents a unique potential for the Financial Services industry that embraces and pervades the entire organisation. But developing and implementing an integrated ESG strategy is complex and multifaceted. Corporate strategy and management, risk management, access to finance, communication, investor relations: these are just some of the areas touched upon by ESG issues.
Moreover, according to the FOEN, Federal Office for the Environment, insurance companies, pension funds, banks and asset managers must already implicitly consider climate-relevant risks as part of their fiduciary duty to policyholders or clients.
Adopting ESG compliance measures and integrating ESG factors into business strategy has therefore become a business imperative for all companies.
Efficient management of ESG issues requires a high degree of coordination, integrated specialist know-how and an appropriate corporate culture.
In light of the pivotal role played by education and further training programmes in the integration of ESG criteria, we have designed an ad-hoc ESG education for financial institutions of 2 academic hours, offering the opportunity to draw on the proven expertise of our experts in the three areas of environmental, social and sustainable governance criteria.
The cost of the education is CHF 500 for each individual partecipant and CHF 2.000 for company.
Date and location of the education may be agreed upon taking into account specific needs.
